Health tips: How to Lighten Your Skin Without Using Bleaching Cream.

Beauty they say is in the eye of the beholder. A common way of accessing the beauty of a person is by how flawless the skin looks. Many people especially ladies put much effort in maintaining a flawless skin, some even go as far as buying harmful and very expensive products to achieve their goal. While buying of lightening cream isn’t bad, from research they have been found to contain a compound called hydroquinone which is a causative agent for skin cancer. I bring you good news, you don’t have to worry again about how to lighten your skin and its financial implication. Do you know you can lighten your skin with the food you eat? Yes you can, two advantages of using this method is that it is relatively cheap and it is an healthy alternative compared to using chemical laden products. Let’s begin: Honey Honey helps in bleaching the skin and also acts as a moisturiser. This is quite different from what some toning cream does, they bleach but do not moisturise the skin. Honey also contains antibacterial substance that can help fade acne spots. Tip: Apply pure honey on your face and other part of your body you desire to lighten. Leave the mask for 20-25 minutes after which you wash with lukewarm water. Ensure you do this on a daily basis. After 7 days, do a reappraisal. I can assure you that your skin will glow and also look fresh. Oranges One of the most important ingredients in skin care and beauty is vitamin C. Fortunately, oranges are an embodiment of this Vitamin. Do you know that people who consume oranges occasionally have skin texture and beauty better than people who don’t. To crown it, oranges have bleaching properties that are very effective in toning your skin. Tip: Mix a pinch of tumeric with 2 tablespoon of fresh orange juice to make a paste. Apply the mixture on your face and other part of your body you wish to tone. Leave it for 6-7 hours. It is advisable you do this in the night so that you can wash it off in the morning. Note: You can buy tumeric from herb shop or Mallams in the Market. Yogurt Yogurt contains lactic acid and many nutrients which are very beneficial for skin health. Yogurt is also a by-product of milk and works effectively in toning your skin. Tip 1: Mix 2 tablespoon of pure honey with 1 tablespoon of fresh yogurt. Apply the mixture on your face and other parts of your body for 15minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Ensure you do this daily till you get the desired result you want. Tip 2: Gently massage 1 table spoon of fresh yogurt on your face and other region of your body for 7 minutes then you wash it off with lukewarm water. Do this on a daily basis to improve the complexion of your skin. Note: For best result, plain yogurt is recommended. You can get plain yogurt from large supermarkets and grocery section in shopping malls. P.S: Hydroquinone is very harmful to the skin and long term exposure/application would lead to skin cancer.
